Yamini Bist is a netball coach with a background in sport education and athlete development. Alongside her coaching role with Hope in Haringey, she works full-time as a Sports and Exercise Science lecturer at Capital City College, where she teaches and mentors young people studying sport. Through both teaching and coaching, she focuses on helping students and athletes build confidence, leadership skills and a strong understanding of teamwork.
Yamini has experience working with young players in both academy and community settings and is passionate about creating positive and inclusive environments where athletes feel supported to develop both on and off the court. She believes sport can play a powerful role in shaping young people’s confidence, resilience and aspirations, and she enjoys being part of programmes that provide meaningful opportunities for young people within the community.
