Youth Sports Coach
Olivia joined Hope in Haringey in June 2024, with a strong passion for helping young people build confidence, improve wellbeing and develop healthy lifestyle changes through sports and physical activity. She holds a First Class Bsc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from University of East London, and has experience working in clinical, educational and sporting environments.
She has worked for sports teams like London Pulse Netball, Rising Stars Football in Ghana, AQ Basketball and solo athletes at University of East London Clinic. Working as a Sports Therapist, she has experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, delivering rehabilitative programmes and providing manual therapy to athletes. She has learned about the holistic care approach and she continues to use this approach as a tool.
Olivia delivers inclusive gym sessions and fitness programmes that encourage students to stay active and engaged. She found sharing ideas and interests amongst the group helps everyone participate without thought. Olivia’s favourite outlet is Wing Chun, a form of Martial Arts. She has been doing Wing Chun for 10 years and now with Hope in Haringey she is able to run a Box- exercise class, for the community.
