Andrew Boateng is part of UCL’s Alumni, graduating from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Built environment. Today he is the Co-Chair of the Network for Racial Justice and a Course Officer at City University in the school of Arts and social sciences. Outside of work, Andrew serves as Project Director at the Educational, youth-led sports platform, Needmorefootball.com.
Andrew also celebrates his passion for Football in the borough, coaching at Park View Rangers FC in South Tottenham and serving as Club Secretary for North London FC. Andrew is also a qualified FA coach, playing for London Bari FC
Andrew is also active with Police scrutiny groups, serving on the Haringey Stop and Search Monitoring Group, Haringey Youth Leaders Partnership Group, Haringey Independent Advisory Group and The Deputy Commissioner’s external reference group.
Andrew has also been involved in various crime prevention initiatives including The Squash Da Beef Project, violent crime prevention Symposiums, Kickoff@3 tournaments, youth awards, stop and search talks at pupil referral units and more recently involved in the Hype project and the Safe Zones Initiative.
