Hackney-born oil painter, Adebanji Alade, will be an important feature of the 2021 Schools Arts Project rollout, with a highly anticipated visit to Commerce House later today.

Hope in Tottenham has been engaged with Commerce House (formerly known as The Octagon Academy) since 2018, when this institution was a top performer in the Schools Art Festival.
Previously visited by artists such as Oil Painter, Tim Benson and local photographer, Agenda Brown, Hope in Tottenham’s continued engagement with this pupil referral unit (PRU) promises to expose pupils to various forms of creative expression.
In response to requests for another oil painting workshop, Royal Institute of Oil Painters’ Vice-President, Adebanji Alade, has agreed to lead several masterclasses until the end of 2021.
These masterclasses promise to be a morale booster to students who require specialist support in the development of their social skills, emotional management or mental health. in what has been a tough start to the year.
