In two sessions delivered to over 60 students, MACE Graduate Engineer, Gabriel Ross showcased work opportunities to CONEL’s NVQ Construction and Trade Students.

Without a leaflet left in the building, the MACE team delivered an outstanding session on Graduate Programmes, Summer Placements and Apprenticeship opportunities to roughly 60 eager students from the college.

Coming good on their pledge to increase efforts in CONEL and Waltham Forrest FE College, MACE, with the help of Hope in Tottenham, delivered their ‘Foundations for your Future’ presentation throughout the day.

In a series of slides and videos, the recruitment team gave an insight into what it would mean to work at MACE, sharing stories and the recruitment process before closing with a detailed Q&A session.

Reflecting on the event, Graduate Engineer, Gabriel Ross wrote in an email: “We hope to have inspired the students to pursue a career in construction with Mace. When we had concluded the presentations almost all members of each presentation noted they had learned more about opportunities on offer within the built environment workplace than they previously knew.

Many thanks to Rev. Wood from Hope in Tottenham for arranging this opportunity with the college.”

Hope in Tottenham looks forward to the continued efforts of all our partners involved with the Mentoring Construction Project and is excited to announce future events.
