Hope in Haringey’s sports coaches will be leading the charity’s sports, fitness and physical wellbeing sessions in new uniform from this month as the Youth Programme receives it’s first refresh since its uniforms were first issued in 2023.

The team of experienced coaches are passionate about the development of young people and bring to the team a range of specialist sporting knowledge including Football, Rugby, Swimming, Basketball and personal fitness.

Collected during the Charity’s Mentor Meet Up, the coaches embodied Hope in Haringey’s new strategic vision and new look in both personnel and uniform.

Recruiting ‘aspirational role models’ to form its expanding team, HiH’s Youth Programme is the first team to fully embody this strategic vision.

Working alongside Youth Manager, Andrew and Operations Manager, Tom; the youth programme now sees recent coaches Tianna, Yamini and Oliva join the team following their recent graduations from UK universities.

As Hope in Haringey’s Director commented “these new team members fit in with our strategy to deliver services with a focus onrepresentational recruitment, which aims to empower Haringey’s young people by having sessional leaders they can easily relate to, will often share their background and have already achieved in personal and educational goals those that students are themselves working towards“.
