Sessions have been delivered to business and IT classes to date with more on the way
Hope in Haringey’s Mentoring Manger, Rose Oruma has been overseeing the continued delivery of a new mentoring provision to select students at Waltham Forest College.
The workshops aim to educate students on the supportive role that the professional networking platform LinkedIn can play in their career development. Outlining good etiquette, guidance on how to construct a profile and how to use LinkedIn Learning to gain skills, the workshops broaden the charity’s mandate to deliver employability skills.
As previously reported, 2025 will see the rollout of Mentoring’s ‘programme upgrades’, better preparing prospective mentees for their mentor pairings. This will then allow the mentor to be even more effective across their 6 month mentorship.
