Recovering from a medically induced coma following his contraction of COVID-19, Michael Rosen was back to his very best, telling jokes and stories to the North London secondary school students.
Working the stage throughout his 90 min set, the Rosen on display was much recovered from his seven-week stint in intensive care back in 2020.

Having to re-learn how to walk and walk again, his recovery was particularly difficult, one which he believes has changed him forever. Rosen’s recovery would end with a silver lining however, with Michael writing Rigatoni the Pasta Cat whilst in rehab.
Bringing the students to belly-jumping laughter several times throughout the set, students were given a memento of the event, with copies of Michael’s books being given out to each student as they left.
