‘Building a Stronger Haringey together’ breakfast meeting was held on 15th January 2016.
The event was attended by many of Haringey’s community leaders such as; David Lammy MP, Council leaders Nick Walkleyand Claire Kober, Inspector Dayle Speed and Sgt Mel Spooner from the police, the Bishop of Edmonton and various church leaders and school headteachers. A number of Hope in Tottenham partners were also involved in the meeting, which was hosted at St Ann’s Church. In total, more than 90 people came and represented faith, schools and government to engage in dialogue and seek collaborative solutions for the challenges that are faced by our communities. Hope in Tottenham will continue to play its part in building community cohesion and improving the life chances of people from Tottenham, with a particular emphasis on children and young people.
