Hope in Haringey are celebrating a visit from former Deputy Prime Minster, David Lammy MP.
In an exercise led on by HiH’s Youth Officer Team, the visit from Tottenham’s longstanding Parliamentary representative was an opportunity to share and champion the voices and achievements of Haringey’s young people.
With Haringey being awarded the London Borough of Culture status for 2027, the visit also served as an exciting platform for Hope in Haringey’s developing Youth Officer team to demonstrate how the Tottenham based charity’s work across Counselling, Youth Sports, Employability Mentoring and in its Haringey African Schools Partnership Project is demonstrative of the borough of culture status.
On the visit, Hope in Haringey would remark “we are grateful for the visit from Mr Lammy and remain committed to enhancing the life chances of Haringey’s young people and engaging with everyone who help us further this goal.”
