As the 24/25 academic year draws to a close, Hope in Haringey was invited as guests of honour to Harris Academy Tottenham’s sixth form graduation event.

The HiH Team say goodbye to a group of students they have been supporting for the last two years.
The ceremony, which is the first the sixth form has hosted since it was created in 2014, marked the achievements of its students and educational partners, recognising the vital role external voices play in student success.
Attending the event on behalf of the charity was Omar Alleyne-Lawler who said: “Today’s invite represents another step in the ever-growing relationship between ourselves and HATO. We’re proud to support every school we work with, especially one that has grown as close as Harris has. It’s not just myself celebrating today but everyone on our counselling, mentoring, sports and police engagement teams that deliver sessions here. So whilst we may no longer see the students in our day-to-day, I know that the hard work we have poured into them will put them on a great path going forward. I wish everyone all the best.”
The celebration does not mark the end of Hope in Haringey’s relationship with HATO as next year the charity has agreed to deliver an enhanced guest speaker programme to the sixth form, extending the current scheme of work that saw the sixth form hear from influential people like Gavin Lewis, Professor Parmar and Paulette Elliott earlier this year.
